The Verkhovna Rada refused to consider, proposed by President Vladimir Zelensky, the bill on amendments to the electoral process in Ukraine. About it reports “RBC-Ukraine”.
The document was discussed at an emergency meeting of Parliament Wednesday, 22 may, convened at the request of the President.
At the end of voting the deputies refused to include it in the agenda. In addition, the Parliament refused to consider the first bill, which was introduced Zelensky on the implementation of public procurement during the election process. Both were marked by the President as urgent.
Speaker of the Parliament Andrei Parubiy said that the bill received in paper form are all present in the hall MPs. “I saw the bill and was disappointed. The proposed us system is completely closed lists,” he said.
