Former Deputy commander of the defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh, major General Samvel Karapetyan, also known as Oganowski, denied its involvement in a conspiracy against the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinian, which earlier reported by the media. In a statement, Karapetyan said that the widespread media information “untrue” and are “meanness and misinformation.” The General said, “wounded four times on the battlefield, has lost hundreds of supporters of the military can not act as a splitting of Armenian unity”.
The General said that being a “warrior-liberator”, its objective and the Supreme end, he sees that “in the event of having to defend the homeland, and not to engage in revolution or counter-revolution”. Karapetyan also pointed out that “throughout his biography never engaged in” such activities. “And even if he did, it was only once, in 1988,” said Karapetyan, adding that the oath he gave once in the same year.
