The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has supported the initiative about assignment of the Yaroslavl drama theater named Volkov the status of a particularly valuable object of cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia. This was announced by the Governor of the region Dmitry Mironov on his page on Facebook on Thursday, may 23.

He thanked the President for support. “The Volkov theater has a glorious history and high artistic achievement, not just proven professional awards. It needs to maintain its independence”, — said in the recording.
