Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky in an interview with “Ukrainian truth”, said that his quarrel with the former President, Petro Poroshenko, has occurred “because of TV”.
According to the businessman, Poroshenko did not suit the agenda belonging to Kolomoisky television channel “1+1”. However, he said that the cause of the quarrel was not any particular event. “It was every day,” says the tycoon, referring to the President’s claims. He also adds that the differences began with “the first day”. According to the oligarch, he was often invited to the presidential administration for a talk, and he came there “on duty”.
Kolomoisky says that Poroshenko didn’t believe him when the oligarch has tried to convince the President that he does not determine the agenda of its owned media assets. According to him, journalists would not have to comply with the requests and requirements of the oligarch: “We live in new ways, all says that now all a new life has come.”
Igor Kolomoisky is one of the richest people of Ukraine. His fortune Forbes estimates at $ 1.1 billion. The oligarch is the founder of the largest in Ukraine industrial-financial group “Privat”, presented in the banking sector, petrochemical industry, metallurgy, food industry, agricultural sector, air travel, sports.

The oligarch several years resided abroad due to the long conflict with Poroshenko, who has repeatedly said that Kolomoisky is promoting Vladimir Zelensky or Yulia Tymoshenko for the post of President of personal revenge. One of the tools of influence of the oligarch Poroshenko called it the TV channel “1+1”, where the broadcast show media companies Zelensky. After the victory of Vladimir Zelensky in the presidential elections, Kolomoisky has returned to Ukraine.
