German scientists have found that when the heat of women there is an increase in productivity. In particular, they begin to better cope with arithmetic and verbal tasks. This benefit from the increase in temperature more than the resulting performance loss in men. The article was published in the journal PLOS One.
The study involved 500 men and women who at different temperatures of the air passing a series of tests on cognitive, mathematical, and verbal ability. The temperature during the experiment was changed from 16 degrees to 32 degrees Celsius. The participants of the stacked two-digit numbers without a calculator, were the words from a random set of letters within five minutes and solved logic puzzles.
It is shown that women are better able to cope with the tasks at a higher temperature and men at lower. When the temperature increases men are better performed logical exercise. According to scientists, it shows that to achieve the best performance possible at a higher temperature of the air in the office than the current standards.
