The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic said that he expects attack by Albanians on Serbs in Kosovo. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“The Albanians are all more panicked. A matter of days and months, when they attack Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija,” — said the leader of Serbia.
In February 2019, the head of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, during a debate at the Council on foreign relations in Washington, said that Kosovo was prepared to give part of its territory of Serbia as a fee for a peace agreement between Pristina and Belgrade.
Kosovo declared independence from Serbia in 2008. Russia, China, Israel, Iran, Spain, Greece and several other countries refused to admit it. Serbia is the Autonomous province of Kosovo and Metohija, what is the region in the Constitution, part of its territory. Negotiations between Belgrade and Kosovo ended in March 2017.
