Kalinin district court of Cheboksary (Chuvashia) sentenced to probation, the 19-year-old son of the mayor of the city Oleg Sadykova, resisted arrest after a chase in a limousine and a mass brawl. This was reported by the press service of the Republican Prosecutor’s office.
The defendant was sentenced to one year and four months of probation under part 1 of article 318 (“violence against a representative of authorities”) and article 116 (“Beating”) of the Russian criminal code. The verdict stated that the probation is assigned when extenuating circumstances: the recognition of Ludicovi of guilt and compensation to victims for moral damage.
The court found that the evening of 9 February Ladikov while in the company in a condition of alcoholic intoxication, from hooligan promptings have beaten two of the victims. On February 15 a young man in the office of the interior Ministry in the city of Cheboksary hit in the face with a police officer. Ladycow was dissatisfied with his legal action.
At trial, the mayor’s son asked to stop criminal case in connection with reconciliation with the victims or be fined. However, the Prosecutor opposed, and the court has not heeded the request of the accused.
Accomplice Ludikova involved with him in the fight, was fined 20 thousand rubles.
The state Prosecutor asked for the mayor’s son and a penalty of 2.5 years in a colony-settlement.
12 February it was reported that Ludikova was placed under house arrest. According to the newspaper “Komsomolskaya Pravda — Kazan”, a young man with friends staged a mass brawl and fled in a limousine. They tried to stop a police patrol, but the mayor’s son has resisted them. After the incident Ladikov Sr. apologized to the victims, saying that his adult son is ready to be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
In 2016 the son of the mayor of Cheboksary driving someone else’s car went into the oncoming lane and crashed into VAZ, both drivers received injuries. It turned out that Ladikov Jr. was without a license and refused medical examination on availability of alcohol. Then 17-year-old escaped a fine of 15 thousand rubles. His father also made a public statement, calling the act of his son socially dangerous, and expressed its willingness also to pay the penalty.
Alex Ladikov became the head of administration of Cheboksary in 2011.
