Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law extending Amnesty. The relevant documents were published on the portal of legal information.
According to the law, the third phase of the Amnesty of capital installed for the period from 1 June 2019 to 29 February 2020. The document was submitted to the Duma by the Cabinet to implement the President’s instructions.
Under the Amnesty of individuals in this period will be able to submit a Declaration. They will be saved all the guarantees, provided that they return the assets to Russia and pass the state registration within the framework of the change of jurisdiction of the controlled foreign companies in special administrative regions in the Kaliningrad oblast and Primorsky Krai.
The capital Amnesty in Russia was in two stages — the first lasted from 1 July 2015 to 30 July 2016, the second — on March 1, 2018 February 28, 2019. During the first phase were collected 7,2 thousand declarations of foreign property and assets of the Russians during the second, the Russians have declared more than 10 billion euros.
In the framework of Amnesty for the voluntary return of assets in Russia, businesses receive exemption from criminal liability for articles about evasion from execution of obligations on return of funds for the payment of customs duties, taxes and fees, failure to perform duties of a tax agent, as well as the concealment of funds and property.
