The former figure skater said that she would have to take medication every day for the rest of life. “To control [the disease], I need to take the pill. If you do not accept, I will die. If not treated, the disease ends in death”, — it summed up.
Slutskaya won silver at the Games in 2002 in salt lake city and bronze in the Olympics 2006 in Turin in singles. The athlete also has twice won the world championship (2002, 2005). A career she completed in 2006.
