The Verkhovna Rada refused to dismiss Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman. On Thursday, may 30, reports “RBC-Ukraine”.

His resignation was supported by only 97 deputies of the necessary minimum of 226 MPs.

Care Groisman automatically would have meant the dissolution of the government. After the decision of the Parliament, the Cabinet will continue to operate in its current composition until the parliamentary elections.

Before the session of the faction “block of Petro Poroshenko” (BPP) said that almost unanimously oppose the Prime Minister’s resignation. The party believes that the dissolution of the Cabinet in the background of early elections to the Parliament will lead to chaos in the country. BPP is the largest faction in Parliament and has more than 100 members.

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on legal policy and justice supported the resignation of Groisman.
