Frame: the movie “Rollerball”
The portal 24/7 Wall Street made a rating of the best and worst remakes of movies in cinema history. In each list, which leads to USA Today, includes 50 strips.
In compiling the list were taken into account for pictures of the users kinoresursov IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes.
The worst remake was fantastic tape 2002 “Rollerball” based on the eponymous film of 1975. The story of the original film Norman Jewison, based on a story by William Harrison, is set in antiutopia future in which the world is ruled by the Energy Corporation. All sports have replaced the bloody and violent Rollerball, where athletes perform on roller skates and motorcycles. In the remake by John McTiernan told about the origin of this sport.
On the second place — “Cold as ice” 1991 remake the “Savage” of 1953 with Marlon Brando. Third place was taken by the romance of guy Ritchie “swept away” with Madonna, loosely based on the Italian tape, 1974, “Classified as an extraordinary destiny in blue sea in August.”
In the top 5 of the list also got “Left behind” with Nicolas cage (a remake of the film “the Eden Formula”) and “the Mist” (based on horror, 1980).
The best remake was a horror film “Poltergeist” 2015 (remake of the eponymous horror 1982). It is followed by the melodrama “blame Rio” (“Momentary insanity”) and drama “Crossroads” (“Melochi zhizni”).
