Ukrainian boxer Alexander Usik is stripped of his title of world champion in the first heavy weight under the version of world Boxing Council (WBC). It is reported by Boxing Scene.
The organization announced athlete “the champion in holiday”. Therefore, the 32-year-old Ukrainian will have the right of priority of the fight for the return of the title.
On may 8 it became known that the debut of the Mustache in a heavy weight fell through due to injury. Originally it was planned that the Ukrainian will meet with Cameroonian Carlos Takama on may 25.
At the end of March, the Mustache gave up the belt of the world Boxing Association (WBA) in the first heavy weight. In case of preservation of the title he was obliged to conduct his defense in a fight with Russian Denis Lebedev.
In November 2018 Usyk defeated the British Linen and retained the title of absolute world champion in the first heavy weight. In addition, the Ukrainian heavyweight has won 16 victories in his career. He never conceded at a professional level.
