Electronic visas will start to operate throughout Russia in the next year and a half. This statement was made head of the Federal Agency for tourism of sarin doguzova at the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF-2019). Her words leads RIA Novosti.
She noted that e-visa is already valid on the territory of the Far East, from 1 June, it spread to the Zabaykalsky Krai, and from July 1 will start to operate in the Kaliningrad region.

In March, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia is ready to simplify visa regime to attract travelers. He noted that the country can go to the most modern types of visa solutions, including e-visas.
