Football club “Kolos” from the village of Kovalevka first appeared in the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). This was reported on the website of the team.
In the play-offs Kolos victory over Chornomorets. The first meeting ended in a draw — 0:0, and in the second match the home club won with the score 2:0, both goals were scored from the penalty spot.
Kovalevk’s village located in the Kiev region at a distance of 80 kilometers from the capital of Ukraine. This is the smallest settlement of the country, which will host matches of the Ukrainian championship. There are about 1,6 thousand inhabitants, and the home stadium “Ear” is calculated on 2,5 thousand of spectators.
Prior to that, the small towns whose clubs were in the Premier League, was Romney (“Neftyanik-Ukrneft”) and Shepetivka (“Temp”). There were about 40 thousand people.
