In eight Russian regions have developed and plan to test a technology for automatic identification of the poor through the information system of social security (EGISTO), said in an interview with RIA “news” the Chairman of the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) Anton Drozdov.
The model will be tested in pilot regions and further implement throughout Russia. “In fact, we – this data base for the regions and the Ministry of labor to implement this program. And using Rosstat, of course,” — said Drozdov.
What exactly is the new technique he did not explain. The technology is being developed in the framework of a pilot project aimed at achieving until 2024 national goals of socio-economic development to increase real incomes and reduce poverty in half.
The pilot project takes place in Kabardino-Balkaria, Tatarstan, Primorye, Ivanovo, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod and Tomsk regions.
Previously, the government of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YANAO) suggested that in the report of Rosstat, according to which the region’s residents only have enough money for food mistake. Overall, the study showed, in Russia, half of the households only have enough money for food and clothing.
