The Minister of internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev has gone from communicating with journalists in St. Petersburg when they decided to ask the officer a question of the correspondent of “Medusa” Ivan Golunov. About it reports “Rosbalt”.
On the morning of 10 June the Minister and the acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov took part in awarding of winners of the collection “heirs of the Victory” in the Peter and Paul fortress. After the ceremony, journalists hailed the interior Minister. For a second the Minister turned his head to the side members of the press, but left the building without stopping. He did not communicate with journalists.
Journalist of “Medusa” was detained in the afternoon on 6 June in Moscow and accused of attempt of sale of drugs. The police said that they found the correspondent of a narcotic substance during the inspection and during a search of his apartment.
According to Golunova, detention is connected with
his investigation into the death business. He explained that he had received threats. Drug test the correspondent of the publication showed a negative result. Experts of the Ministry of interior also found no drug residue on the swabs from his hands and under the nails of a journalist.
Golunov has declared his innocence. Nikulinskiy court of Moscow has decided to send him under house arrest until August 7.
