Moscow authorities agreed on an action in support of the journalist of “Medusa” Ivan Golunova, which had planned to hold the Union of journalists of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the capital government, reports “Interfax”. The event will be held on Sunday, June 16.
The decision was taken by the Moscow authorities “given the high public attention”, noted the press service. It is reported that among the action applicants are the Chairman of the Union of journalists of Moscow Pavel Gusev, Chairman of the Russian Union of journalists Vladimir Solovyov and others.
Earlier it was reported that action in defense of Golunova, which was planned for June 12 colleagues Golunova, was not agreed to. The Kremlin noted that the issue of harmonization of such activities is within the competence of the city authorities.
