The Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatyana Moskalkova said that at the time of meeting with her on 10 June Vladimir Putin was informed journalist Ivan Golunova. Her comment leads TASS.
Moskalkova said that she didn’t have to report the incident to the President: he was already familiar with the details. According to her, Putin himself said this after the speech of his Advisor Anton Kobyakov.
She said that by the beginning of the meeting, Putin already gave all important instructions on this matter.
The Commissioner for human rights stated that she was unaware of the fact toss drugs Golunova. However, she recalled that for such actions the penalty.
Moskalkova also said that the release of Golunova is a common merit of caring people who want justice and truth.
Earlier, the Commissioner for human rights called the use of force as a sign of their lack of professionalism. According to her, violence towards the detainees can not be applied.
Golunova journalist was detained on 6 June, he was charged with attempted sale of drugs. Many felt the case against him was fabricated. Many media supported Golunova. Later, he was sent under house arrest. June 11, the journalist was released and the charges against him dropped.
