Russian Commissioner for human rights Tatyana Moskalkova has called the use of force is a sign of the incompetence of the police. Her words leads TASS.

The Commissioner said that all the people affected by the judicial investigation system should be entitled to protection. This is especially true in the immediate moment of detention.
The issue of protection during detention, according to Moskalkova, raised the case of the correspondent of “Medusa” Ivan Golunova. His role in his release she described as insignificant. The Commissioner for human rights believes that in this case, the authority drew attention to a society that demanded justice.
Golunov was arrested on 6 June in Moscow. He was charged with attempted sale of drugs. The circumstances of his detention has drawn criticism from colleagues and activists. Golunov was sent under house arrest. Examination showed that washings of the hands and cuts his nails traces of drugs. 11 Jun Golunov was released. Criminal proceedings were discontinued, charges were dropped.
