Unknown Twitter Medvedev hacked

Official Twitter account of the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev was hacked. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the government.

The Ministry reported that the control over a hacked page of the Prime Minister has managed to recover. About who could be behind the attack on a government account, are not reported.

Earlier, on June 12, users of social networks reported that on page Medvedev appeared two answers on a tweet to Ambassador of Iraq in Russia. Both records contained a rambling set of Latin characters and was soon removed.

In November 2018 hacked several popular accounts on Twitter and launched a fraudulent advertising campaign on behalf of the Director General of Tesla Elon musk. The attackers launched a series of promotional tweets on behalf of the businessman and have earned about 180 thousand dollars.
