Petersburg “Zenith” has responded to the scandal by goalkeeper Andrey Lunev at Vnukovo airport. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
According to the press service of the blue-white-blue, the conflict is settled. The club said that the situation was provoked by an airport employee, whose actions could lead to the delay of the goalkeeper on the flight. “The employee apparently decided to find the easiest way to solve working difficulties”, — added in “Zenith”.
It is noted that Lunev had paid an administrative fine in the amount of one thousand rubles for swearing in a public place and flew to St. Petersburg on another flight.
About the detention of Lunev was known earlier, on 12 June. Telegram-channel Baza reported that the goalkeeper was drunk and behaved provocatively. Because of this footballer refused to let aboard the plane, next to St. Petersburg. According to REN TV, in the blood of the goalkeeper during a medical examination had detected is 0.77 ppm alcohol.
Lunev stands for “Zenit” in 2016. He has 7 appearances for the national team of Russia, in which he missed 14 goals.
