According to the staff of the service, Roskomnadzor demanded that VPN providers restricted access to the sites from the black list. “We understand that, losing to the requirements of Roskomnadzor, will violate its own principles and will not bring any benefits to users,” explained they.

Refusing to comply with the requirements of the Supervisory authority, the company does not renew subscription Avast SecureLine VPN. It is reported that those users who already have it can continue using the service until the end of term.

In addition, the company warned that users will no longer be able to connect to the servers located in Russia.

According to the initiative of Roskomnadzor, VPN services and anonymizers to block access to sites from the “black list” so that users could not log into these pages.
