Jihadists have struck a powerful blow to the Syrian Arab army (SAA) in the province of Idlib. It is reported by AMN.
In the night from 12 to 13 June, the militant group “Hayat Tahrir al-sham” (HTS created on the basis of the banned in Russia “Dzhabhat EN-Nusra”) stormed the positions of the Syrian army near the village of al-Kasabi. It is reported that the fighting was about two hours. As a result, the SAA was able to repulse the attack. In the province of Hama, government forces were able to stop the attack of the jihadists, inflicting serious losses.
Earlier it became known that the planes of Air and space forces (VKS) Russia made four bombing of terrorist positions in Syria’s Idlib province at the request of Turkey.
4 June it was reported that the Syrian army during the day captured three cities Amirat, CT and Harden.
