The yoga teacher from the United States drowned in the Dominican Republic, becoming the eighth American tourist who died on a tropical island for the last few months. Reported by the Daily Mail.
The body of 42-year-old Surly Miller found in the water near the beach in Puerto Plata local fisherman. Presumably, she went for a swim and didn’t cope with a strong current, resulting in drowned.
Three of her sons, 15-year-old Dylan, 13-year-old miles and 10 years of Preston, were left orphans. For them, launched a fundraiser on the website GoFundMe.
The incident Surly Miller became the eighth case of death of an American tourist in the Dominican Republic over the last year. According to administrators of hotels, most of the deaths happened under mysterious circumstances. The investigation involved the Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI).

According to her, a friend found her brother dead in a hotel room. The woman says that a relative died from a heart attack. However, no one still knows what exactly happened with Corcoran.
6 June it was reported about death of three American tourists in the Dominican Republic. It was noted that the traveller died in mysterious circumstances due to an unknown illness. Their relatives suggested that tourists died due to respiratory failure.
