Journalist Golunov spoke about panic attacks after the liberation

The journalist of “Medusa” Ivan Golunov told TASS that he had panic attacks after the arrest by the police and charged with attempted sale of drugs.

“I have a panic attack on the topic of security, I need to figure out how to live, how to return to normal life, but I do not know how to do it,” he said.

Golunov also noted that it has not yet decided whether to go to the rally on June 16 in its support. “I need to realize and think, I will decide later, I still have two days”, — explained the correspondent. Previously, he refused to come to the March on June 12.

June 12 mother and brother Golunova reacted to the news on the withdrawal from him of all charges. Svetlana Golunova was released to journalists with the cake and thanked the audience for their support.

Journalist of “Medusa” was detained in the afternoon on 6 June in Moscow and charged with attempted sale of drugs. The circumstances of the detention was criticized by colleagues Golunova, the case caused a public outcry. The building of GU MVD in Moscow was held a series of pickets that ended in arrests.

Later, the Minister of internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev said that the fault Golunova has not been proven and all charges dropped. On the evening of 11 June, the journalist was released the next day in Moscow and many cities of Russia held an unsanctioned rally in support of the journalist. On 13 June the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in connection with the case Golunova dismissed from bodies of internal Affairs of two major-generals of police.
