The interstate aviation Committee (IAC) published a preliminary report about the crash of passenger plane Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ-100) in Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, which occurred on may 5 of this year, according to a press release from MAC.
From the results of the report shows that after hitting the SSJ-100 lightning on the fuselage was discovered damage characteristic traces from the effects of lightning — the plane disconnected the autopilot and was not communicating.
It is reported that the report was adopted on 4 June the technical Committee, composed of experts of the IAC, the Federal air transport Agency of “Aeroflot” and “Sukhoi Civil aircraft”.
