The actions of the Russian leader criticized the current President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, Ukrainians are not interested in obtaining a Russian passport, as the document provides the right “to be arrested for peaceful protest”, “don’t have free and competitive elections” and forget about the rights and freedoms of the individual.
Kiev says Moscow is responsible for the conflict in the South-East of the country, which lasts from the moment of the coup in 2014. The law, adopted in Ukraine in February 2018, Russia is officially considered as a country-aggressor, which occupied the control of the authorities of Kiev, the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
