The situation in the village Chemodanovka, Penza region, where previously there was a mass brawl, returned to normal. On Saturday, June 15, said in his Instagram account the Governor of the region Ivan Belozertsev.
“Just finished the headquarters on the situation in Chemodanovka, along with the initiative of the villagers. The situation is stable. The suspects were detained,” wrote Belozertsev.
He also complained that in social networks began to spread false information about the conflict, “intimidating citizens” and encouraged to trust only reliable sources.
Earlier it was reported that Belozertsev took part in a meeting of the inhabitants of Chemodanovka to discuss occurred conflict with the Gypsies. He said that the regional Directorate of the interior Ministry will check all the visitors and promised to establish a working group to resolve the situation with the participation of the villagers.
Mass brawl in Chemodanivka occurred on June 14. The conflict has suffered at least three local residents. The police brought 174 people, three were arrested on suspicion of murder. A criminal case on the fact of mass fight reclassified to a more serious articles: murder and the attempted murder of a group of people.
For discussion of the conflict with the Gypsies was called the people’s Assembly. Presumably, the villagers stood up for children, to which the Gypsies allegedly began to “massively interfered”. According to another version, earlier Gypsies had tried to rape one of the local residents, probably minors, for which the villagers decided to stand up.
