The Prosecutor of the Penza region Natalia Kantserova met with residents of the village Chemodanovka, where there was a conflict with local residents and the Gypsies. This was reported on the website of the regional Prosecutor’s office.
Only the reception was attended by 32 residents of the village and the surrounding area. “People complained about the misconduct of other residents of the area, poor street lighting, condition of roads, work of clinics, provision of medicines and other rural problems”, — noted in Prosecutor’s office.
It is noted that Kantserova took the complaints personally.
Mass brawl in Chemodanivka occurred on June 14. One man received a serious head injury and died in hospital, two others injured and was hospitalized. Was detained 174 people. Investigated the case of murder and attempt to murder a group of people.
According to one version, the conflict occurred because of dissatisfaction with the behavior of Roma who had allegedly molested young girls and tried to rape one of them. According to another version, it all started because of a quarrel of children in a pond.
On 17 June it became known that all Gypsies left Chemodanovka. To ensure the safety of the village left 20 law enforcement officers. One of the two who is in hospital injured were on the mend.
