Ukraine’s new President Vladimir Zelensky repeats the rhetoric of his predecessor, Petro Poroshenko. This was stated by the head of the breakaway Donetsk national Republic (DND) Denis Putilin, reports “Donetsk news Agency”.
“His rejection of direct dialogue with the republics of Donbass is a vivid evidence of the short-sighted policy of the new authorities of Ukraine, — the head of the Republic. — We are very disappointed.”
While Putilin expressed hope that the new President of Ukraine is aware that change is necessary to change the approach to solving the problem.
The self-proclaimed head of the Luhansk national Republic (LNR) Leonid beekeeper on its official website said that Zelensky has used the theme of peace solely as the slogan of his campaign was not going to follow it. As Pushilin, he is confident that the policy of the new Ukrainian leader will not differ from the policy of Poroshenko.

On 17 June, during his official visit to Paris Zelensky corrected the President of France Emmanuel Makron, when he mentioned the willingness of the President of Ukraine to talk with the residents of Donbass. Zelensky said that Kiev does not intend to engage in dialogue with the “separatists” and is going to resolve the situation in the South-East of the country only in the Minsk format.
