According to the sociologist “Levada-center” Karina Pipia, the authority and credibility of the army grew due to the conflict in the South-Eastern Ukraine and war in Syria. The feeling of confrontation with the enemy and the growth of external threats lead to the conclusion about the necessity of a strong army, she said.
