Immigration and customs police United States next week will begin a massive deportation process. This was stated by the President of the United States Donald trump in his Twitter.
As noted by trump, millions of illegal migrants will be sent home “as quickly as it had come.” He noted the positive role of Mexico and its stringent laws in the process, and also reported willingness of Guatemala to sign an agreement on asylum for nationals of third countries. According to TASS, it provides for asylum migrants in their country of first entry.
In addition, the American leader again criticized Democrats and urged them to vote for the amendments to the immigration law. “If that happens, the border crisis will end quickly!” concluded trump.
Thousands of migrants from poor countries of Central America in October 2018 went through Mexico to the US border to demand asylum from the us authorities. Trump was sent to the border thousands of soldiers to curb the influx of illegal immigrants. At the end of March it became known that from Central America to the US has nominated a new caravan of migrants. It has 1.2 thousand people.
In may 2019 U.S. border patrol agents arrested more than 132 thousand people, who appeared from the Mexican side: a third more than in the previous month, the biggest monthly figure since 2006. In Washington the situation was called a crisis.
