Russian orchestra to play at night under the open sky

Symphony orchestra of the Pskov regional Philharmonic society will give a night concert “Lavender night” under the open sky in the center of Pskov. This was announced by artistic Director and principal conductor of the Pskov Symphony orchestra: Nikolai khondzinsky, reports TASS.

It is noted that in the event, which will take place on Friday, July 5, will also take part the soloist of the Mariinsky theatre Maria Bayankina. She will perform famous arias from operas of composers of the French, Italian and Spanish schools. Will also feature operatic Overture and instrumental interludes.

According to Kondinskogo, interest of local people to participation are extremely high. “The tickets were completely sold out a month before the concert. This is a very important indicator and just another confirmation of how many connoisseurs of classical music among the people of Pskov”, — he said.

Hondzinsky stressed that will also be available to stream events in “Vkontakte”.

The musicians of the Pskov orchestra toured the Baltic States, and also collaborated with soloists of the leading European, the Mariinsky and Bolshoi theatres.

The event will be held in the framework of the national project “Culture”, the implementation of which is allocated 113,5 billion. It includes three Federal programs: “Cultural environment”, “Creative people”, “Digital culture”. In accordance with the purposes of the project until 2024 will be equipped art schools and schools of musical instruments, equipment and instructional materials, creation and overhaul of cultural and leisure facilities in rural areas, acquisition of mobile multifunctional cultural centers for the maintenance of the rural population, digitization of film content on digital media of the Gosfilmofond of Russia, as well as create virtual concert halls.
