Authorities in Novosibirsk region are willing to double the territory allocated under the project of the Novosibirsk scientific center (“Akademgorodok 2.0”), where, in particular, will be a source of synchrotron radiation “SKIF” (Siberian annular photon source). A decision may be taken if it is approved by the Board for synchrotron research Russia. “We also create reserves of the territory and engineering infrastructure for the future long-term development of the Novosibirsk scientific center,” — said the Governor of the region Andrey Travnikov.
According to him, currently, under the “campus 2.0” have been allocated about 12 thousand hectares. He also noted that “campus 2.0” will include 31 research and innovation project, the authorities there also plan to implement 67 projects to develop its transport and logistics infrastructure, social sector and energy.
Herbalists added that interest in the Novosibirsk scientific center has already shown a major Russian state Corporation — Rosatom, rostec and RUSNANO, as well as enterprises of electronic, instrumental, oil and gas, chemical and biomedical industries.
The construction of the “SKIF” will be carried out in the framework of the Federal program “Development of advanced infrastructure for research and development in the Russian Federation” of the national project “Science.” According to her, by 2024 in a country with 50 percent updated instrument base of the scientific organizations, will also be commissioned clinical setting class “magicians”. To implement the program is planned to allocate 350 billion rubles.
