Honorary President of the Russian football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov has responded to the threat of a Ukrainian midfielder of Hungarian “Haladas” Yuri Gabovda to the “Krasnodar-2”. His words leads “CHempionata”.
“No one to do it and punishing him will not be — neither the RFU nor the UEFA [Union of European football associations]. For them there is no investigation, who needs it?” — said Koloskov. He added that any sanctions against the player and will not do, and his word is not worth paying attention to.
Earlier on 4 July, the Ukrainian posted to Instagram with threats to the players of “Krasnodar-2”. “Tomorrow we play against the “Krasnodar”. At least one moskalskaya mug will fall”, — he wrote. Later the post was deleted, but the player said his account was hacked.
The club found the behavior of midfielder unacceptable and punished him. In the end, the athlete will take the field in a match with “Krasnodar-2”. The meeting between the teams will take place on 5 July.
30-year-old Gabovda stands for “Heladas” in 2018. He is also known for his performances in the Minsk “Dynamo” and a number of Ukrainian clubs.
