Paid high-speed highway M-11 Moscow — St. Petersburg will fully open in October 2019. On Friday, July 5, reports TASS with reference to first Deputy Chairman of the Board of the “Avtodor” Igor Astakhov.
According to him, is not yet ready two plots — stages 7 and 8, near St. Petersburg. They are planned to be completed in August and September, respectively, then the road will open completely.
On 3 July it was reported about the opening of the section between Klin and Tver. There established 238 kilometres of barrier fencing, more than 1.5 thousand lighting poles and noise barriers.
High-speed highway M-11 will stretch from the Moscow ring road before joining the Ring road around St. Petersburg. The total length of the motorway is 669 kilometers.
Repair and construction of new roads is a key task of the national project “Safe and quality road”, which runs until 2024.
