The largest Russian producer of agricultural machinery “Rostselmash” plans to increase volume of exported equipment. This was announced by Director General of the company Valery Maltsev, reports TASS.

According to him, over the past year, in particular, managed to increase the indicators in absolute value, in units of combine harvesters, 40 percent. “This year we plan to grow exports by 25-30 percent compared to last year”, — said the Agency interlocutor.

Maltsev noted that participation in the subsidy program allows you to make the technique more competitive. “For example, in South Africa our equipment is not known, and foreign manufacturers there for many years, so we need to start some kind of price advantage to the agricultural producer had a desire to try our equipment,” he explained.

It is noted that in 2018, the company first began supplying in South Africa and sent for export about thousand cars. As noted by the CEO, the organization annually for two or three new markets, in 2019, sales started in Germany.

In “a Rostselmash” has 13 companies in ten manufacturing sites in four countries. The company includes 150 models and modifications of 24 types of equipment, particularly grain and forage harvesters, tractors, sprayers, forage and grain processing equipment.

Such measures are taken in the framework of the national project “international cooperation and exports”. It includes several Federal programs: “Industrial export, Export of agricultural products”, “logistics of international trade”, “Export of services” and “a Systemic approach towards the development of international cooperation and exports.” In total for its implementation by 2024 it is planned to allocate about 1 trillion roubles.
