The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that he and his team are ready to fulfill all points of the Minsk agreements. He said this in an interview with Deutsche Welle, a fragment of which was published in Twitter of the edition.
Zelensky said that neither he nor any of his team did not sign the Minsk agreements. Despite this, he declared the intention “to do all that is written in the Minsk agreement”. According to him, all this is done in order to Ukraine was the world.
Western countries and Ukraine regularly accuse Russia of failure to fulfill the Minsk agreements. The removal of many sanctions imposed on Moscow after 2014, associated with the progress of the implementation of these agreements. Moscow has repeatedly stated that the responsibility for the implementation of the Minsk agreements rests with Kiev and Russia is not a party to the conflict and subject to the agreements.
Ukraine signed the Minsk agreement requires Kiev to adopt a law on Amnesty for participating in the conflict on the side of the breakaway republics of people, change the Constitution, which stipulates the special status of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and their right to linguistic self-determination, restoration of socio-economic relations not with Kiev-controlled territories and so on.
