President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko supported the proposal of his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky on an international meeting in Minsk, to Russian leader Vladimir Putin. About it reports BelTA news Agency.

The press service of Lukashenko said that the Belarusian leader about the need to solve the Ukrainian crisis through dialogue remained unchanged. The President believes that the most effective would be a meeting of leaders of Ukraine and Russia in its mediation. However, he also spoke about the need to engage in the negotiation process of the United States. “They are too immersed in these processes,” — said in a statement.

“If you solve the problem in this [tripartite] format does not work, and one of the parties to the conflict — in this case Ukraine — insists and suggests the participation of other players, we support this format also,” — said the press service of Lukashenka.
