Rosstat called the most expensive products at the end of last year, reports owned by Grigory Berezkin, the Agency RBC.
In 2018, the price of millet and cabbage rose is 73.6 and 72.8 percent, respectively. At the end of last year the overall inflation rate amounted to 4.3 percent — thus, the growth rate of prices of these products exceeded the annual inflation in 17 times.
The price of sugar and eggs rose by 28.3 and 25.9 percent. Also the prices grew rapidly for onions (+23.7 percent), validol (+23.6%), table beet (+23%), chilled and frozen chickens (+20.7 percent) and carrots (+20 percent).
In addition to rising prices for food and medicines, was recorded a significant rise (+30.8 percent) motor fuel due to the increase of price conjuncture of the oil market.
Earlier, representatives of the National feed Association has warned that meat prices in Russia may grow by at least 10 percent.
