The Russian foreign Ministry condemned the speech of the Georgian TV presenter George Gabunia who live obscenely insulted the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and his parents. Comment from spokeswoman Maria Zakharova received the radio “Moscow Says”.
“That’s the trouble with Georgia,” Zakharova said in response to journalists ‘ questions.
Earlier it became known that TV channel “Rustavi-2” has resumed broadcasting, previously terminated due to the scandal. Prior to this, the company has begun meetings and General Director Nika Gvaramia has suspended the broadcasting of the concerns for the safety of employees.
The scandal provoked by the statement of TV host George Gabunia. On the evening of 7 July, he began production of the author of the program PS with obscene abuse against Putin. Gabunia Russian turned to the President of Russia and called it the “stinking occupier”, and also said that Putin and “his slaves” have no place “on our beautiful earth.”
The President of the country Salome Zurabishvili condemned the trick Gabunia. She said that such behavior runs counter to Georgian traditions and only contributes to the aggravation of relations between the two countries. Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze also criticized the TV presenter.
