The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky from the creative person is close to the journalism profession turning into bullies, the suppressor of freedom. About this in his Telegram channel, said Russian journalist and TV host Vladimir Solovyov.

“Why so scared? Why he worked himself to such a degree of hysteria? Alas, repeated the well-known rule: no big Stranglers of freedom than yesterday’s liberals, to undermine the government,” wrote Soloviev.

He added that Ukraine, despite the efforts in Europe, not a stone was left of freedom of speech. This concept is Kiev now interprets in his own way — meeting of the Council of national security and defense Council (NSDC), organizing emergency message from the President and threatening the employees of the TV channel with physical violence, said Solovyov.

The day before, 7 July, TV presenter Dmitry Kiselev announced a direct teleconference, “we Need to talk” between Russia and Ukraine. The broadcast was to take place on 12 July at 18:00 on TV channels “Russia 1” and NewsOne.

The next day, the acting head of the security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov sent Zelensky request for a meeting of the national security Council on this issue. He also reminded the television channels broadcasting under the logo “112 Ukraine” and NewsOne, on possible sanctions against them for holding “anti-Ukrainian information campaign”.

The head of state called the teleconference between Moscow and Kiev is cheap, but dangerous pre-election PR move, aimed at division of Ukraine into two camps. Several hours later, NewsOne has canceled a planned broadcast from the massive TV attack of some political parties.
