Tyumen doctors will learn to identify a predisposition to heart disease

In the Tyumen cardiology center appeared genetic laboratory, allowing one hundred percent probability to learn about a predisposition to cardiovascular disease. About it reports “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.

According to the head of Department on public relations of the cardiology center Elena Gushchina, the main task of the laboratory is the definition of hereditary predisposition to disease. “While there are trial production in small scale, but soon everyone will be able to undergo the necessary genetic testing,” she said.

Gushchin added that the experts will also be able to conduct research on sexually transmitted diseases, viral diseases, fungal and parasitic infections, and more.

In a press-service of cardiology also noted said that such laboratories already exist in Tyumen, however, only the institution will tightly engage genetic research in the field of cardiology.

In Russia to 2024 will be implemented the national project “Health”, which in total is planned to spend more than 1.7 trillion rubles. The project, in particular, involves efforts to reduce mortality from cardiovascular disease and re-equipping with modern medical equipment 140 vascular centers and primary vascular 469 offices. Another aim of the project is to increase average life expectancy to 78 years. The curator of the national project is assigned to Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova, the head — Minister of health Veronika Skvortsova.
