The Secretary of national security and defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr danylyuk held a meeting with members of the national security Council, which discussed the issues of information security. About it Danilyuk wrote on his page in Facebook.
According to danyluk, law enforcement agencies, in particular the security Service of Ukraine and the National police, gave a number of instructions on ensuring information security of the country. He stressed that the details of the orders are not disclosed for security reasons.
“The so-called teleconference cancelled, but it’s not the end of the information war. Therefore, our work continues,” he concluded.
A teleconference between Russia and Ukraine planned to be held on 12 July at 18:00 on air of TV channel “Russia 1” and NewsOne. However, later, the Ukrainian side refused the initiative because of “a massive information attack.”
The Ukraine criticized the idea of the teleconference. Nationalists put before President Vladimir Zelensky an ultimatum, saying that “such a disgrace in the Ukrainian air will not be exact”. Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko called the events an “information attack component of the hybrid war against Ukraine”. The security service of Ukraine initiated a meeting of the national security Council and threatened TV stations with sanctions.
Representatives of NewsOne in response to the criticism noted that a teleconference between ordinary people of Ukraine and Russia: no politics, no politicians. “Each side needs to take a step to end the war”, — reads the statement of the channel.
