The head of the Georgian foreign Ministry welcomed the statement of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin about absence of necessity of sanctions against Tbilisi. About it reports TASS.
“The decision of the President of Russia is clearly the only correct one. This decision is welcome,” said foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
Earlier Tuesday, Putin, commenting on the possibility of introducing economic restrictions, said that wouldn’t do it out of respect for the Georgian people. The Russian leader did not see the expediency in the prosecution of a journalist insulted him.
