19 per cent of candidates for elections to the Verkhovna Rada on majority districts were unemployed. This is stated in the study of the public movement CHESNO, which is published on its official website.
Candidates who indicated that they were unemployed or temporarily unemployed, were all political forces.
The highest percentage of unemployed candidates in majoritarian districts is the party of former President Poroshenko “European solidarity”. She turned out to be unemployed 12 percent of the candidates. The party supporters of incumbent President Vladimir Zelensky — 10 percent, “the Opposition platform of Pro — life” and “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko — for 11 percent.
The lowest percentage of unemployed candidates put the party and the leader of group “Ocean Elzy” Svyatoslav Vakarchuk “the Voice.” There are such candidates 7 percent.
Currently, Ukraine is the election campaign for early parliamentary elections. The new composition of the Verkhovna Rada will be elected on July 21.
