The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has appointed Mikhail BNO-Hayriyan the new Governor of the Kiev region. Reports about it “Strenia”.
It is noted that BNO-Ayriyan was a classmate of the head of the party “Servant of the people” Dmitry Razumkov. They studied together at Kyiv national University.
Previously, the newly made Governor worked at the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow, was an adviser to former Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko. Prior to the current appointment, he served as Director of communications and international cooperation in the NEC “Ukrenergo”, which is accused of corruption.
May 21, Zelenski appointed as his chief of staff lawyer Andrew Bogdan, who is known as a personal lawyer of the businessman Igor Kolomoisky. Bogdan, according to the journalists, it falls under the action of the Ukrainian lustration law that theoretically does not allow him to hold public office. The country’s Supreme court refused to consider the legality of the decree appointing Bogdan.
