Without cooperation with Russia to achieve peace in the Donbas is impossible. This was stated by the leader of the Ukrainian party “the Opposition platform For life,” Victor Medvedchuk during a meeting with Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, reports RIA Novosti.
According to him, Ukraine is tired of the aggression, which it had imposed the previous leadership, however, and the current President of the country Vladimir Zelensky was not in a hurry in matters of the world.
Earlier, on 10 July, it was reported that Ukrainian opposition leader Viktor Medvedchuk and Yuriy Boiko met with the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
During the talks, Medvedev expressed support for the initiatives of the party of Medvedchuk to restore inter-party Russian-Ukrainian dialogue. According to him, the Russian side is ready “to speak on any topic” with the Ukrainian deputies.
The last time Medvedchuk and Boyko held a meeting with Medvedev on March 22. They talked about the restoration of trade relations between the two countries, the agreement on the transit of gas through Ukraine, which expires this year, and the possibility of concluding direct contract for the supply of fuel.
