The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that he will not allow the monopolization of television by people with Pro-Russian views. About it reports “112 Ukraine”.
“During the war, any people who have not vision Pro-Ukrainian, can’t monopolize the Ukrainian channel. We need to deal with this. People like Mr. [head of the political Council of the “Opposition platform For life” Viktor] Medvedchuk, will not allow to monopolize our Ukrainian television,” — said the head of state.
Zelensky said that this issue will be resolved at the legislative level, after the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. However, he did not explain what criteria will be evaluated “Pro-Russian” views of the owners of TV channels.
“There are no information monopolies, we will not” — summed up Zelensky.
