In the town of Bathgate, Scotland, the woman was married and asked his terminally ill son to take her to the altar. This publication reports The Sun.

30-year-old Maxine Connelly (Connelly Maxine) decided to get married to her son Jack, who suffers from a heart defect, was able to attend this event. At first she wanted to postpone the celebration, learned of the diagnosis, but then I realized that he might never see the wedding of their parents, who have been together for 13 years and are raising several children.

Jack was diagnosed with a heart defect at birth. He survived several major operations, one of which was open heart. Last year, his mother had to leave work to care for my son at home. Because of this, Michael and Maxine could not afford to get married, but they won in the contest “Day dreams” of 15 thousand pounds (1.1 million) and decided to spend them on this event.

According to Connelly, Jack was proud that I was able to attend the wedding and wear a kilt like his father. Usually the boy used a wheelchair, but at the ceremony he took his mother to the altar. “We all started to cry. I also wanted, because I thought that this moment would never happen. I’m so proud of them,” shared a woman.
